Cavallo Farm's lesson program is a show-oriented riding program with lessons being offered on weekdays and weekends. The goal of the program is to prepare students for the show ring either on their horse or one of ours. Students are encouraged to show on the weekends at USEF rated shows and in the Virginia Horse Show Associate Program.

"My vision for Cavallo Farm is to create a friendly, family-oriented environment where clients enjoy riding and showing successfully."
Michael grew up in Colorado and New York and graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Equine Science. Upon graduation, Michael moved to Hawaii to become Manager and Head Trainer of the Koko Crater Equestrian Center. After running the center for over two years, he moved to Virginia, where he continued to train horses and riders at the Great Falls Horse Center and Blue Fox Farm.

Summer Camp 2010 Dates Online—Register Now!
Each year Cavallo Farm holds our Young Riders Summer Camp for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12. The camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Campers will enjoy a fun and exciting morning that consists of learning about riding, grooming, tack care, and how to maintain a happy and healthy horse.
